Western New York Paralegal Association
The Western New York Paralegal Association, Inc. (WNYPA) is a voluntary, nonprofit association formed in 1976 to promote the professional development and continuing legal education of paralegals in the Western New York area. Over our forty-year history, the Association has worked toward its additional goals of maintaining high ethical standards for paralegals, educating the Western New York legal and business communities in the effective utilization of paralegals, and promoting consumer awareness of the role of paralegals within the legal system.

We hope this finds you and your families safe and healthy during this global pandemic. Due to COVID-19 and social distancing restrictions, Board elections were not held in April of 2020. At a Board of Directors Meeting held on 4/22/20, the Board accepted the resignations of Aidan Campbell, Diane Capicotto, Amy Honan and Lynda Wilcox from the Board, appointed Heather Davern, Jennifer Morgan and Sue Ann Sarra and reappointed Lynda Wilcox to the Board. Your new Board of Directors and Officers are as follows:

We realize that this is a time of great stress and uncertainty for everyone. Please be assured that the Board and Officers are continuing to work for you through the summer months to plan for the upcoming year. We encourage you to stay connected and to reach out and provide us with your thoughts as to how you would like to see the Association move forward in this new age of innovation. Remember, this is your Association; we are only the governing Board who serve on your behalf.
We ask that you update your profile in the Member Directory section of the website in the event there has been a change to same so that we are assured we have current contact information to provide you with notices of events and updates in the legal community.
